Gazetarët lusin Fyle-n, të mos lejojë mbylljen edhe të A2-shit

Gazetarët  kanë organizuar një aksion për mbrojtjen e televizionit A2,  të cili Këshilli radio-difuziv ia morri lejen për punë, duke i dërguar letra eurokomesarit për zgjerim Shtefan Fyle, shkruan portali Plusinfo. Portali porosit të gjithë gazetarët që nëse dëshirojnë  të përkrahin aksionin  të dërgojnë letrën e cila është në gjuhën angleze në e-mailin e Fylesë [email protected]

Në letër kërkohet nga eurokomisari Fyle që të mos lejojë mbylljen e televizionit A2, dhe shprehet revoltë nga përkeqësimi i mëtejmë i ambientit medial dhe lirisë së shprehjes në Maqedoni. Kjo është përmbajtja e letrës që gazetarët ia dërgojnë Fylesë: 

To the attention of: Mr. Štefan Füle, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy
Dear Mr. Füle,
I am addressing you in order to express my revolt because of the revocation of the license of TV A2 by the Broadcasting Council, since I believe that these kinds of actions of the institutions additionally worsen the situation with the freedom of expression and the democracy in Macedonia.   
Article 63 of the Broadcasting Law, on bases of which the Council brought the decision,   contains no explicit provision which stipulates that violations of the programming format would provide grounds for revocation of the license. During the drafting of the Law on Broadcasting Activity in 2005, experts from the Council of Europe clearly warned that such a provision in the law should not exist because of the possibility of its abuse.
Furthermore, the Council did not inform the public whether other television stations respect the format which they are licensed for.
In a situation when the rules of work at Macedonian media market are violated on all grounds on a daily base, counting the percentages of the entertainment program of TV A2 – the television which had a Don Quixote assignment to hold up the critical public’s voice in the Macedonian ether, is a hypocrisy which the Council did not even tried to hide. 
The Government, which gained a direct control of the work of the Broadcasting Council after changing the Law that enabled increase of the members of this regulatory body, closed TV A2 the very same day when the agreement between the Government and the Association of the Journalists of Macedonia for decriminalization of defamation was achieved.

Dear Mr. Füle,
Please do not allow the impact that the agreement between the Government and the AJM had, to suppress the huge damage caused by the closure of TV A2.
Please do not allow the trend of shouting down the critical media in Macedonia to continue.
